Full Itinerary
Day 1: Los Angeles – Shanghai
Depart from LAX today aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey. When you cross the international dateline from east to west, you lose a day and you will “gain” the lost day back when you fly from China back to US.
Day 2: Shanghai – Beijing
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our tour guide and transported by coach bus to a local restaurant for lunch. After lunch, we will take a 【traditional Rickshaw tour】 of the Ancient Hutong and visit with a local resident; we will explore the 【Wangfujing Food Street】, have dinner, then check into our hotel.

Day 3: Beijing
Today, we will begin our tour of the Capital of China with our first stop at 【Tiananmen Square】, a famous landmark that holds the distinction as being the world’s largest public square, then continue to the 【Forbidden City】 (aka the Imperial Palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties). After lunch, we will stop by the Pearl Gallery then we will visit the 【Summer Palace】. Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a Welcoming Banquet, tasting Beijing’s famous 【Peking duck】.

Day 4: Beijing
The highlight today will be a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the 【Great Wall】. We will be starting our day with a visit to the Jade Factory; Then travel to the Badaling Section of the Great Wall; after lunch at the hotel buffet by the Great Wall, we will visit the Great Wall for some hiking on the wall and then visit the Great Wall Museum.

Day 5: Beijing — Xi’an
We will take an early morning flight to Xi’an, the famed starting location of the Silk Road. Xi’an was the capital of eleven dynasties in China history. It is a city with over 5,000 years of history. Upon arrival, we will have lunch near the airport; After lunch we will be visiting the 【Giant Wild Goose Pagoda】, built around 600 AD. After checking into our hotel and taking a short rest, we will continue to a dumpling making lesson, a【dumpling feast】 and a【Tang Dynasty Musical and Dance Show】.

Day 6: Xi’an
The highlight of the day will be a visit to the 【Terracotta Warriors museum】 and exhibit. In the morning, we will be visiting the 【Ancient City Wall】 (over 600 years old), one of the most well-preserved city walls in China; we will then visit the Terracotta Warriors Factory for our travelers to learn how the Terracotta Warriors were made. We then continue to the Terra-Cotta Warrior Museum and exhibit where you’ll see about 1,000 life-size statues and horses standing in battle formation; The Terracotta Warriors of the Qin Emperor is now regarded as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Lunch will be at the Museum. We will visit the Muslim Night Street Market before dinner.

Day 7: Xi’an — Shanghai
In the morning, you’ll board a flight to Shanghai. Shanghai is the largest and most prosperous city in the nation. It is the economic, financial and cultural center of the country. Upon arriving in Shanghai, we will visit the【Yu Garden Bazaar】 and have lunch there; we then take a tour of the city. After dinner, you can join us to go see the 【Shanghai Acrobatic Show】.

Day 8: Shanghai
In the morning, we will take a trip to an 【Ancient Water Town】. After lunch we will visit a Silk Factory. We then continue to a flea market for some shopping. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner, then embark on a night cruise on the 【Huangpu River】.

Day 9: Shanghai
Entire day will be on your own to explore Shanghai. A 【24 hours hop-on/hop- off bus ticket】 will be provided to you at no charge.

Day 10: Shanghai – Los Angeles
In the morning, you can have free time on your own to explore the city or join us to take a short train ride to the Knock-off Market. Check out from the hotel before 2 PM. At 4 PM you will be transporting to the airport for a flight to Los Angeles via the Maglev train and experience the fastest train in the World at over 270 mph.
