Full Itinerary
Day 1: Los Angeles – Beijing
Depart from LAX today aboard a spacious jet for your transpacific journey. When you cross the international dateline from east to west, you lose a day and you will “gain” the lost day back when you fly from China back to US.
Day 2: Beijing Arrival
Upon arrival at Beijing, you will be met by the tour guide from Spring Tour who will help you check in the reserved hotel. After this long voyage, it will be a pleasure to settle into your luxurious accommodations.

Day 3: Beijing
Beijing is the capital of China and the 2008 Olympics was successfully held here. The first place to visit is the 【Temple of Heaven】, then continue the visit to 【Tiananmen Square】, a famous landmark and the world’s largest public square. Next place to visit is 【the Forbidden City】 – the royal palace of ancient Chinese emperors.

Day 4: Beijing
A visit to China is not complete without setting foot on the Great Wall. 【The Great Wall】 of China is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in northern China, built originally to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire against intrusions by various nomadic groups. Plan to bring comfortable walking shoes if you want to scale the Great Wall and its magnificent history. Souvenir store visit: Jade factory and Cloisonné Factory. After lunch, you will visit the royal garden – 【Summer Palace】. The Summer Palace is the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China.

Day 5: Beijing – Xi’an
Today you will fly to Xi’an from Beijing, the renowned starting point of the ancient Silk Road. Xi’an was also the capital of 11 ancient dynasties in Chinese history. You will visit the 600 years’【Ancient City Wall】. It’s the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Day 6: Xi’an
One of the highlights of your tour to China will be today to visit the life-sized 【Terracotta army museum】, buried with the emperor for over 2200 years. You will enjoy the delicious 【Chinese dumplings banquet】 and watch one of the best shows in China – 【Tang Dynasty Dance and Music】.

Day 7: Xi’an – Chengdu
Today you will first visit the 【Shaanxi History Museum】, one of the best museums in China, then continue to visit the【Big Wild Goose Pagoda】 built 1000 years ago. In the late afternoon, fly to Chengdu.

Day 8: Visit Panda Base
You will go to visit the largest Giant Panda Center in the world, which is locating just 10 km (6 miles) away from downtown Chengdu, the 【Panda Breeding Research Center】 has been created and imitated the panda’s’ natural habitat in order that they might have the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. It cares also for other rare and endangered wild animals with an area of 92 acres, 96% of which is verdure. Giant pandas, lesser pandas, black-necked cranes, white storks as well as over 20 species of rare animals are fed and bred there throughout the year. Verdant bamboo, bright flowers, fresh air, a natural hill scene and a beautiful artificial view are merged ingeniously at the base.
In the afternoon, you will visit the UNESCO world heritage – 【Ancient Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and Qingcheng Mount】.
After dinner, you will visit the old downtown of Chengdu. Chengdu is a city brimming with a strong leisurely ambiance. 【Jinli Street】 is particularly representative of this city. It is recorded that as early as the Qin Dynasty (221 BC – 206 BC), Jinli Street was the most famous place for baldachin – a rich, ornate cloth. Strolling down the narrow street, you will find yourself surrounded by old-world stores selling Shu Embroidery, lacquer products, folk handicrafts, curios, or calligraphy and paintings of celebrities. All of these stores have their unique style but also have one thing in common: no matter how busy the place is, the stores are peaceful and relaxing. You can browse leisurely or purchase some souvenirs for your friends. Most of the special local products can be found here.

Day 9: Chengdu – Hangzhou
Today, you will go to visit the 【Leshan Giant Buddha】 first, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Leshan Giant Buddha was built during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The Buddha is carved out of a cliff and faces the confluence of the three cities in Leshan. It is the world’s largest Buddha carved from a stone.
In the late afternoon, you will fly to Hangzhou. With its cultural relics now restored and preserved, Hangzhou is known as one of the seven famous ancient capitals of China.

Day 10: Hangzhou – Suzhou
Hangzhou is one of the seven capitals of ancient China, known for its tea products. Take a small boat ride on the 【West Lake】 which reveals the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou’s willow draped islands. You will admire the Su Causeway, which was built in the fifth year of Yuanyou Period in the Northern Song Dynasty (1090) and has evolved since then. Later, you will have a cup of Chinese famous Longjing tea at Green Tea Village, and then drive to Suzhou, the “Venice of the East”. The city is famous for its canals and stone bridges as well as the silk.

Day 11: Suzhou – Shanghai
You will visit 【San Tang Street】 which has always been regarded as the first name of Suzhou ancient streets. San Tang Street has a long history of about 1,100 years, its layout and architecture are best to represent the characteristics of Suzhou’s old alleys, and it has connections to many ancient Chinese celebrities and anecdotes. 【The Lingering Garden】 is a renowned classical Chinese garden and is recognized with other classical Suzhou gardens as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. China is known for the silk, so for sure we will take you to have a visit of the Silk Spinning Factory. Depart for Shanghai in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Shanghai
Today you will visit【Shanghai Museum】 in the morning, with an audio tour describing the special features of the museum’s permanent collections, then you will continue the visit to 【Chenghuang Temple mart】 and the city’s colonial European past at The Bund.

DAY 13: Shanghai – Los Angeles
In the morning, you can have free time on your own to explore the city or join us to take a short train ride to the Knock-off Market. Check out from the hotel before 2 PM. At 4 PM you will be transporting to the airport for a flight to Los Angeles via the Maglev train and experience the fastest train in the World at over 270 mph.
